Just fifty metres (about 160 ft) from the ocean, the 27 apartments of Ca' Nicola are built around two open courtyards between sea and desert.

The décor has been chosen with an eye to detail: furniture carved by local artisans and pieces of Indonesian bamboo create a welcoming atmosphere. All apartments have living rooms and fully equipped kitchens, one or two bedrooms with bath, ceiling fans in every room.
Of course each one has a terrace or a veranda for relaxing and enjoying a fascinating panorama....

To the south of Tarrafal lies our house: a bungalow with a large courtyard, 4 double rooms, simply furnished with excellent two-meter beds and equipped with hot running water, shower and toilet. Furthermore we have a large living-dining room where we will serve you an extraordinary good meal.

All rooms give access to a very nice courtyard. The floors in the entire house and courtyard are laid with beautiful Spanish tiles.

The house is situated 50 meters from the ocean, with a small and clean beach right in front where you can safely bathe in the ocean. The water temperature varies from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius.

A small terrace to the west gives an excellent view on the often brilliant sunset.

The large living room has an extensive library and music library, and comfortable lounge chairs where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine or any other drink. The living room is also the dining room, where we all have dinner together. Often the courtyard is used for dining in the shadow of the sheer roof.

One very important thing, for us as well as for the guests, is the absolute silence around the house at night. You will just hear the surf on the beach in the background, adding to that feeling of tranquility.
